Sign in to remote computers without a password¶
Passwordless login lets people connect over Fluid without the computer's username and password. They see the computer's screen as it is: the sign-in screen, the lock screen, or the signed-in desktop. Use it so team members can reach a computer without being given its local account password.
Warning
Anyone who can connect to a computer that allows passwordless login gets full access to its screen without its password. Turn it on only for computers that need it.
Applies to¶
- Jump Desktop for Teams Enterprise plan.
- Team administrators, in a Connect Configuration.
- Remote computers running Jump Desktop Connect on Windows, macOS, or Linux (beta).
Choose a setting¶

Steps¶
- In the Teams dashboard, create or edit a Connect Configuration.
- Under Fluid Settings, set Passwordless Login.
- If you're turning it on, click Confirm in the Enable Passwordless Logins dialog.
- Click Save, then assign the configuration to computers or Access Groups.
Result¶
Jump Desktop connects without asking for the computer's username and password.
Limitations¶
- Only when no one is logged in is checked when a connection starts. A connected session isn't ended if someone later signs in.
- Passwordless sessions aren't limited by Maximum Concurrent Connections.
If someone is at the computer¶
Use Ask to Share Screen instead. The person at the computer approves the request. In Jump Desktop on Android, touch and hold the computer in the computer list, then tap Ask to share screen.
