App purchases across devices¶
A Jump Desktop app purchase is a one-time purchase for one platform. It covers all your devices on that platform, but not other platforms. For current prices, see plans and pricing.
How it works¶
| Client | Cost |
|---|---|
| Web browser | Free |
| Windows | Free |
| Mac | One-time purchase, from the Mac App Store or as a direct download with a 14-day free trial |
| iPhone and iPad | One-time purchase from the App Store |
| Android | Free, from Google Play |
- Same platform, more devices: buy once. An App Store purchase works on all your iPhones and iPads, and a Mac purchase works on all your Macs. Install or reinstall with the same store account and you won't be charged again.
- Mac direct download: to use a license file, click Import... in the app's Purchase Jump Desktop dialog and select it.
- Different platform: buy separately. For example, an iOS purchase doesn't unlock Jump Desktop for Mac.
- iPhone or iPad and Android: the Android app is free, so there's no purchase to share or transfer.
App purchases and Jump Desktop for Teams¶
A Jump Desktop for Teams subscription includes Mac app licenses for all team members.
- Mac: team members install the direct-download version and sign in to their team account. A license is assigned automatically.
- iPhone and iPad: buy separately from the App Store.
