Browser

New Report a problem without leaving your session. The settings drawer has a Feedback section whose Send Feedback button opens a support request form in a new browser tab. See Connect from a web browser.

Web and Teams Dashboard

New See who is on each computer without opening it. Current Active Connections on the team overview and the new Connected Users column in Computers list the people connected to each computer, with their names and email addresses on hover and a control that copies them. A CSV export carries every connected person. You see this for computers you can connect to yourself, and only if your team's plan includes active connections. See See who is connected.
New Read a computer's note from the list. Show the Notes column in Computers to see each computer's note beside it, and click a note to read it in full. Filtering and export use the whole note. See Add a note.
New My Computers fits a phone screen. On a narrow screen, My Computers shows each computer as a full-width card with its name, status, operating system, and tags, instead of a wide table that scrolls sideways. See Connect from a web browser.
New Invite someone by email while you are looking at your SSO directory. Where Add Users lists SSO users, that card now has an Invite by Email button that opens the invite dialog directly. See Add and manage users.
Improved Large teams stay responsive. The Users table no longer stalls on teams with thousands of users, the SSO users list scrolls smoothly at directory scale, and tagging many rows at once is sent as one request with a progress indicator instead of a call per row. See Organize with tags and custom fields.
Improved Know what a past-due payment does to your bill. While a payment is past due, the billing banner states that removing or disabling users does not lower the past-due bill, and it now appears on Users and on a user's page, where remote access is turned on and off. See Choose a plan.
Improved Find out why a provisioned user never appeared. Activity Logs now record when SCIM confirms an account that already existed, which is therefore not added to the team, and when such a user is skipped for a group. See Provision users with SCIM.
Improved People and computers are shown the same way in Computers, Users, and Access Groups: overlapping avatars, colored by platform for computers, with the full list and a copy control on hover. Each of those lists can now be reached with the keyboard.
Improved The dashboard's download card links the Jump Desktop apps for iPhone and iPad, Windows, Mac, and Android. See Install Jump Desktop.

This version changes which USB devices you can redirect. On macOS and Windows, redirecting USB devices other than game controllers, such as styluses, pen tablets, and other HID devices, now requires the Jump Desktop for Teams Enterprise plan. Game controller redirection stays available to everyone, and Enterprise teams aren't affected. Without the Enterprise plan, other device types show an upgrade option in the Devices menu. Improved The Codec menu now explains why an option is unavailable, instead of showing a grayed-out entry with no reason.

New Play with an on-screen game controller. Turn on On-Screen Controller in the Devices menu for a customizable touch controller with thumbsticks, triggers, and buttons. Use Edit mode to drag the controls anywhere, with separate layouts for portrait and landscape.
Improved Easier display setup for Fluid connections. Choose between Single Virtual Display and Host Displays, pick a resolution mode, or set a custom resolution, all from the Display menu and the computer's settings page. A one-time prompt on first connect helps you pick the best display setup, and Single Virtual Display now turns on Retina automatically for sharp output.

On macOS, more of these cases are recognized, including devices claimed by helper apps such as the Stream Deck app or Elgato Control Center.
Improved FIDO and WebAuthn security keys work better over USB redirection. The host now shows the system's standard PIN prompt for your key, and more types of authenticators are supported.
Fixed Choosing the Fluid codec silently switching you to Fluid 2.0 with older hosts.

Mac

Fixed RDP Start in: Fullscreen (all displays) on a multi-monitor Mac showing a tiny window, only one of the host's displays, or your screens in the wrong positions. Your full screen layout is now mirrored on the host.
Fixed Two crashes when starting an RDP session: one when laying out windows across multiple monitors, and one while the session starts.
Fixed Jump Desktop becoming sluggish or keeping a CPU core busy when its window is hidden behind a full-screen app, on a closed laptop lid, on a disconnected external display, or in another Space. It now goes quiet while hidden and picks up again as soon as the window is visible.

iPhone and iPad

New Lock or release the cursor in one tap with the new Lock Mouse Pointer toggle in Options → Input → Mouse. The iPad menu bar also gains a full Mouse submenu (Show Pointer, Show Circle, Lock Mouse Pointer, Physical Mouse), where previously only Physical Mouse was available.
Improved Smoother video, lower CPU and battery use, and fewer hangs, from major performance and stability improvements.
Improved When you switch input methods during a session, the language name, such as "Korean (South Korea)", now appears briefly on screen. This helps on iPad with a hardware keyboard, where iPadOS otherwise gives no sign that you've switched.
Fixed Several hardware keyboard issues with Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Pinyin input methods, including stray deletions and garbled characters while composing Korean, Pinyin spaces reaching a host that uses US English, Return adding a new line instead of confirming a conversion, the candidate popup appearing off-screen, and the Option key getting stuck after switching from Korean back to English.
Fixed Holding Esc not releasing Lock Mouse Pointer, even though the on-screen hint said to use it.

New Manage virtual displays more easily. Keep them on the host between sessions with the new Keep After Disconnect option, and give each virtual display its own resolution, scale, and refresh rate with the new Fixed Size mode in the connection's Display settings. See Virtual displays.
New Add a computer from a connection link with File → Import → From URL.
New Remove your own access to a Connect computer you no longer use with Remove My Access in the computer's right-click menu.
New Cloudless Fluid connection links can now include the host's SSL certificate fingerprint. If the certificate doesn't match, the connection is refused. See Cloudless Fluid.

New Use FIDO2 and U2F security keys, such as YubiKey, on the host. After connecting, choose Remote → Devices and select the security key. Security keys that require a PIN aren't supported yet.
Improved The computer settings window (Edit Server) has a cleaner, easier-to-use layout, including a fully reworked Display settings page.
Fixed The built-in updater not installing new versions in earlier version 10 betas. To move to this version from an earlier beta, download Jump Desktop manually once and move the old copy to the Trash; updates install normally from this version on. Mac App Store installs aren't affected.

Windows

New Import and export computer lists as .jdz archive files with File → Import and the right-click Export option.
Fixed Being unable to cancel the connection after entering an incorrect password.

New Text and interface elements on the host appear at a comfortable size without manual adjustment, because the host's display scaling now matches the scale of the computer you connect from.

Web and Teams Dashboard

New Get diagnostic logs without involving the user. Team administrators can request and download Jump Desktop Connect logs from a computer's details page, which reduces back-and-forth with end users during troubleshooting. The computer must be online and running Jump Desktop Connect 10 Beta 6 or later. Download links expire after one hour. See Get diagnostic logs from a computer.
New Rename your SSO company name. Teams can change their SSO company name in the dashboard without changing the underlying SAML configuration, which helps when a company changes its name or moves users to a new domain. See Set up single sign-on.

New Browser session settings are remembered. Browser session settings such as frame rate, bandwidth, audio mute, clipboard sync, statistics, and the number of virtual monitors are restored for your next connection, so you do not repeat the setup for each host. See Connect from a web browser.

Web and Teams Dashboard

New Give visibility without the risk of changes. Teams can assign the Admin (Read-Only) role, so managers, auditors, and support leads can review users, devices, and settings without making accidental changes. See Team roles and remote access.
New Read-only API tokens. API tokens can be issued in read-only mode: they authenticate normally but cannot make API calls that change data. Use them for dashboards, scripts, and third-party integrations that only read data. See Create an API token.
New Shorter-lived API tokens. The new API token dialog offers expiry presets of 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, and 2 weeks, plus a custom date, so you can issue a token that lasts only as long as its task and reduce exposure if it leaks.
New Match computers with your inventory. Computer details show the hostname reported by the operating system, and the computers list can show it as a column, which makes it easier to match Jump Desktop devices with MDM, asset inventory, and scripts. See View computer details.
New Copy Connect Configurations between teams. You can copy a Connect Configuration from one team to another. The copy is created in the destination team as a new, unassigned configuration; later changes must be made in each team separately. See Configure computers with Connect Configurations.
New Browser links for each device. Device URLs include links to connect and to share the screen in a browser, so you can start or share a web session without the native app. See Connect from a web browser.
New Billing exports. Billing administrators can export billable users, with their names and the time the export was generated, to track billable users, especially with group billing. See Use group billing.
Improved Clearer Connect settings. Connect settings show clearer labels, platform chips, and beta indicators, with an option to show or hide beta settings, so you can understand a configuration before you roll it out.
Improved Fewer failed SSO sign-ins. IdP-initiated SSO sign-ins continue into the standard sign-in flow, and users who choose the wrong SSO provider see a clearer error. See Set up single sign-on.
Improved Safer SCIM group sync. SCIM group replace operations validate members before applying destructive changes, and SCIM email matching is case-insensitive. The first beta of Jump Desktop 10: faster, more responsive sessions, USB devices and game controllers on the host, and new controls for team administrators.

Jump Desktop

All platforms

New Smoother, more responsive sessions with hardware-accelerated video, which lowers CPU use, reduces tearing, and allows higher frame rates with better frame pacing. Connect uses hardware encoding on Intel and Apple silicon Macs, and on Windows PCs with NVIDIA or AMD graphics. To use it, connect to a host running Connect 10 or later and open Remote → Codec; a Hardware section appears when your device and the host support it. Hardware limits vary, and some combinations don't support every resolution or color format. If Jump Desktop detects a problem with hardware encoding or decoding, it switches to Fluid 2.0, which works on all platforms. To check that hardware encoding is active, turn on connection statistics. See Hardware encoding.
New Much higher frame rates on capable systems. Choose a frame rate in Remote → Framerate, or leave it on Auto (recommended) to match your screens and the host's displays. See High-performance sessions.
New Use creative control surfaces on the host, such as Stream Deck, Tangent panels, and other USB HID devices, for video editing, color grading, retouching, and audio mixing. Connect to the host, open Remote → Devices, and select the device. If a device doesn't appear, it may not be a supported USB HID device, or team policy may turn it off; team administrators can allow HID device redirection in the team's Connect settings on the Teams dashboard. New Play demanding games on the host with a game controller. Connect to the host, open Remote → Devices, and select your controller. New Choose how long sessions stay active when the app moves to the background, in the new Connection & Background settings. The default is now 10 minutes.

New Get the full performance of a high refresh rate screen. Virtual displays now match your monitor's refresh rate, such as 120, 240, 360, or 480 Hz. The host doesn't need a high refresh rate display attached and can run with no display at all. See Virtual displays.
New Screen sharing sessions can start in View Only Mode, where the viewer can watch but can't click or type. To allow interaction, click the mouse icon in the HUD.

New Delete user accounts safely. Team administrators can delete user accounts, with a confirmation step to prevent accidental deletions. In the dashboard, go to Team > Add Users, select the user, choose Delete from the more menu (⋮), and confirm. The user is removed immediately, and the deletion is recorded in the team's Activity Logs. SSO must be turned on for the team, and only the SSO owner can delete user accounts.

New Send shortcut keys in one tap. Desktop and mobile browsers give quick access to keys such as Ctrl, Page Up, Page Down, Print Screen, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Cmd, Option, and Insert. On desktop browsers they appear in a column view; on mobile browsers, a scrollable toolbar at the bottom of the screen adds arrow keys, function keys F1 to F12, and more.

New Review the devices using your account. Security > Where you're signed in lists the devices signed in to your Jump Desktop account, with the location and when the account was last used from each, and lets you sign out any you do not recognize. See Manage your account.

Web and Teams Dashboard

New Real-time status for every host. The dashboard shows whether each computer on the team is online, when it was last seen, its operating system, and its last known location from its IP address. See View computer details.
New Where connections came from. A computer's events show the IP address a connection came from and, where it can be worked out from the address, its approximate location. See Activity and connection logs.

New A Connect button in the dashboard. Start a session with a computer straight from the dashboard. It opens Jump Desktop, so the app needs to be installed on the device you are working from.
